Qantas con job

Prefacing by being firmly a once and hopefully never again One Star flyer, in using SQ and CX sites for recent booking redemptions, I liked the ability to see the Silk Air and DragonAir options which helped greatly for recent bookings to Saigon and from Hanoi to Shanghai (pass on Vietnam Airlines) returning via Hong Kong. Unfortunately the issue is JQ is no comparison with these airlines.

Redirected to Qantas website, chucked in the dates, back comes...you guessed it...Jetstar. I loathe Jetstar.

It strikes me that Jetstar is Qantas ONLY when it is convenient for Qantas. There should be a mechanism that allows to search for Qantas flights EXCLUDING Deathstar!!
I hate it when JQ flights litter my flight search. Have been trying to highlight this issue to Qantas for a long time. A very simple checkbox on the airfare search page.

It would seem Qantas is not listening to this issue or it is a very low priority.

JohnK thank you for saying what I feel. If one has a choice to book a QF flight, either domestic or international, you do not need Jetstar flights to be shown. I often look up the QF timetable to see where they go and when they go so I know what I can expect. Clear out the Jetstar data from the QF search engine as I do not need them.

But AJ has to make his pet project, the deathstar seem more profitable then it really is.

It's not really about whether they are listening or not. They have clearly made a decision that the flights will appear on their website. That's the way it is, and they may not have any priority at all to change it....
