Sorry, didnt realise that my 20 years wasnt a "genuine commitment" just because I havent earned 7000 status credits. I am not a high flying dykwia just a normal jock off the street who flys as a treat not a nessecity. I guess I will just have to wait till I earn another 3250 status credits until my business is worth something to QF.

Not trying to argue...just put in my tuppence worth

I'm 18 years QP paid membership and I expect nothing more from them. I paid my money and in return got access to lounges, free food and drink and some priority services. I'm OK with that and if I wasn't, I wouldn't have renewed. I got what I paid for, I don't expect thanks for that.

In years gone past I've managed to fly enough (although all on short haul red-e-deals, thus no SG for me) to make each visit cost roughly $11.

What more could you want?

If we add up the *real* cost per visit, I'd say mine is around $300-$400 a pop

Personally, I'd love a customer that pays me $300 for 20 years and I don't need to do anything except send a 1c plastic card to them each year :)
