Hi Everyone, I have to renew my Qantas Club membership in the next few days...The options are to use Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (75,000) or pay the renewal fee of around $500? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to AFF msshe1.

When you consider what 75,000 points can get you flying, to spend that many points for a membership is very poor value.
Better pay the cash (tax deductable maybe?) and use the points for an upgrade or an award flight.

I doubt if one AFFer would spend the points on membership.

Without a doubt, pay in cash! You can get way more than $500 worth of value from 75,000 points!

You may also want to have a look at the Qantas Club corporate rate available to AFF Gold members. I believe the saving is currently about $90 for a 1 year renewal. AFF GOLD Membership Savings —
