Looking on the Qantas web site under lounge access (Domestic) for any city location, for Qantas Club Membership it says:
"Next onward flight that day must be a Qantas^, Emirates^ or Jetstar Airlines+ flight number.
One guest allowed and does not need to be travelling.
From 1 October 2014, Next onward flight must be a Qantas^ or Jetstar Airlines+flight number."

By omission (of the second line) does this mean that from next month, there will be no guesting into the lounge by a QC member? Is this another enhancement?

If you scroll down a bit you'll see the following text:

Invite a guest
You are welcome to invite family, friends or a colleague to join you in the lounge. If you're flying domestically on Qantas, QantasLink or Jetstar within Australia, and on Jetstar within New Zealand you may bring one guest to join you in a Qantas Club lounge.

When visiting an international Qantas Club lounge, you are able to invite one guest each time you visit. Both you and your guest need to be travelling together further that day on the same flight.

Looks like it might be some tidying up of words.

Let's hope so.

The text has changed for EK flights that are operated and marketed by EK. Doesn't look like any change for guesting post October 1st, although it is ambiguous as to whether the guest must be travelling with you for access to a domestic QP.
