Qantas Club Meals

Hi all,
Sitting in the Perth Qantas Club, I really wonder whether it is worth having access to the Qantas Club. The food selection continues to be the most boring collection of offerings available anywhere, and the toasties are so predictable. The menu never changes!

There are so many better choices available in the terminals than ever before. So I am interested in members thoughts on this issue as it is something that Qantas really need to address. And the champers needs to be a better quality.

PS. As a sweet tooth was really impressed that you can snack on licorice allsorts in the early am, but a definite no no in the Melbourne QC.

Thank you.

Not gonna lie, I walked past a donut or bagel shop or something on the way to the business lounge (let alone the club) and felt like i might have been over-valuing lounge access.

Not sure what you mean. It's absolutely worth paying hundreds of dollars per year for a membership or tens of thousands of dollars chasing lifetime gold to get access to the hallowed toastie machine.

Those toastie machines must be Qantas' highest performing asset. Never have so many people paid so much for access to one.

I used to measure the benefit of my QC membership in cappucinos, of course that was before they had the barrista station which made it much more complicated. Now I have to factor toasties into the equation as well?!!

To be fair, the Pizza oven is quite excellent. I just wish it opened earlier to facilitate my sunday morning flights back to the eastern states when I'm nursing a hangover!

I suspect more people value the bar access. Not known as the QP for nothing!

I tend to fly out in the morning too so I don't get to enjoy it that much either. But even when it is on, I do long for the spice bar in Melbourne...
