Hi guys,
I have been a long time lurker getting hints and tips for our many travel holidays and recently became a forum member to ask a question of my own. My wife and I will be travelling to Europe and Africa later in the year via Emirates Melbourne to London. Our return journey consists of a few days stop in UAE and final leg will be Dubai back to Melbourne, again with Emirates.

Now to my question, my brother in law has a couple of these 'Qantas Club Invitations' that he would like to give us but he doesn't know if they can be used in Dubai at the Emirates lounge. Ideally we'd like to use them on the return jouney instead of the Melbourne to London leg.
Anyone know if we can use these?

Unfortunately not, as it says on the back - only valid in Qantas clubs.

Is there a Qantas lounge in Dubai? I was hoping the new partnership would allow access.

I recently used these on my MEL to LHR trip and they can't be used in any lounge that isn't an actual Qantas operated lounge. Even with a partnership with another airline, you wouldn't have access to the partner lounge. EG, I couldn't use mine in Heathrow as it was a BA lounge not a QF one. In Singapore I could use it as there is a QF operated lounge there (although it is closed for renovations at the moment, i was still able to use the pass at the alternate lounge)
