I just joined Aff and tried to use the discount code for qantas club membership. I couldn't do it online and had to ring them . Maybe it wouldn't process online because I already had a discount price as a partner member so instead of it being $799 it was $719 . I asked Qantas club if they would give me the 20% discount on the $719 they said I had to chose either partner discount or AFF discount . So if I'd just gone with partner member discount it would have cost $868 and with the Aff discount it cost me $788. However if I add on the $75 membership to Aff that's a total of $863 so only a $5 saving .
