So I have decided that i might need to consider QC membership however I have read some people talking about gaing membership through AA? anyone care to shed some light for me? also would this be more cost effective then QC Corporate?

From what I've read here, the AA 30 day pass can be great if your travel tends to be in shorter blocks rather than more frequent travel. You should also consider what airports you tend to visit, as the QC is perfect for domestic and on QF international routes but doesn't give the same wide-ranging access as the higher tier one-world frequent flyers get.

Well i try to go international at a minimum of twice a year however this will be predominately from domestic i.e. BNE-SYD on a weekly basis... Well thinking might be better getting on the QC membership.
