Is there a tool / thread / forum that answers a general question as which day to pick so that an international reward flight is more likely to be available?

For example, I expect Sunday night and Monday morning flights are more full out, and Thursdays and Fridays are more full coming back, given the number of likely business travellers.

(I couldn't find a way to ask this question in search that provided a thread with an answer - apologies if its been done.)

It would depend entirely on the route. But yes, Tuesdays and Wednesdays typically have the best availability. Coming back from the USA, Sunday night departures are often less full.
