Qantas classic reward business class (3 seats on some days) now open all the way until Oct 2022 to China

Was looking to finally return to China and visit relatives there and notice on some days there are 3 business class seats available to book on QF and sometimes on CA metal. $110 surcharge each way per person plus normal government tax so 170k points + $400 cash gets you there and back.

Anyway current policy is book before 28 Feb 2022 and change or cancel for free until 31 December 2022, but obviously book if you really need to go and not simply taking the seats for the sake of it.

I assume this is on the Qantas SYD-PVG route?

Interesting as until now, I don't think QF had been releasing *any* award availability to Shanghai.

Was definitely QF award seats last night when I looked on the direct SYD-PVG route

I doubt PVG will be opening anytime soon.
