No, didn’t think to. There was a separate queue to check documents (but had priority lane for elites) and the pleb queue was substantial when I arrived. There’s no way that would have cleared in 30 minutes.

I reckon if I’d got there 1 hour before I would have still made it. HNL international is a ghost town, no queue for TSA. It’s mostly mainland travellers at the moment.

Yeah, I came through off QF103 in the other direction last Friday - departed AA for LAX after 1pm. Had a nice long walk around the airport waiting. It IS a relatively large airport, in size if not in traffic.

Yeah, word had it that there was a bar near the G gates and I made it to F but turned back as I was running out of time.

Last time I flew on QF4 the TSA line was literally all the way to the car park.

It’s a terrible airport, even when things are open.
