We were booked on a Qantas flight leaving Sydney to Queenstown on 15 July which we obviously knew would be cancelled because of the travel bubble pause. We just received a text from Qantas saying the flight time had been changed which we thought was puzzling, but when we checked the booking, it is now showing that we are supposed to be travelling on 19 July. How can they arbitrarily change a flight for several days into the future? I gather this is when they expect the travel bubble to be lifted because its outside the 17 July lockdown, but why would they think we can still travel and on that date? Am I cynical in thinking that they've moved the date outside the lockdown period so that we won't be able to get a refund (only a credit)? Of course we can't call them - the phone lines are saying not to call if your flight isn't within the next 24hrs. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!
