And now the clock has struck midday, I can confirm it's exactly what you'd expect from a James Squire mid-strength lager. A little on the bitter side, quite crisp, not much else - nothing phenomenal but drinkable. Was served with a commemorative coaster.
I tried it about two weeks ago onboard, didn’t have it at the CBR J lounge just prior so can’t comment on exTap quality. I imagine I will partake in one if it’s onboard in about an hour...Just tried this for the first time in the SYD Qantas Club. I actually quite like it! Sure, it's nothing all that special but it's refreshing, bitter and drinkable as others have said.
I wonder if it tastes better when it's poured fresh from the tap, as opposed to drinking it out of a can in the air?
