Qantas Cancellation Policy on Award flights (Internationl and DOmestic)

Hi I am trying to find the Qantas policy on what happens if they cancel your award flight(booked through QF website using QF points) Want to book mum a Adl-BKK award, but they seem to be cancelling a lot of BKK flights so want to know the exact risks. Anyone know the policy - the website is not clear on the issue of award cancellations ( or I may have missed it)
