Hi All,

Absolute rookie with points booking. Am planning to go to Europe with the wife next year.

Have about 800k points between us .

Was going to book one way Business to one dest in Europe now - business class in Sept 2015 flights available and then wait until Oct /Nov to book the return leg different city when flight become available .

As I said , I really have no idea other than searching for fares on the website so any advice would be greatly appreciated

If just the 2 off you going I would be booking as you have suggested. I did the same thing last year, booked the trip over as soon as J seats became available and then booked return flights as they came up.

Why do return to Europe when you could both do a Business Class Round the World fare for only 280k points each?

As I said , am a rookie - didn't know that this was an option .

Would have to do separate bookings as only have 400k points each ?

Do you search for this the same way on the qantas site ?
