Qantas bookings for 2018.

Booking my next weeks fights and found that I have mistakenly booked for December 2018 :shock:

I know you should plan ahead but that ridiculous

Is this an error on QF's behalf, or did you actually book that date in error? If the latter, I'm surprised the system let you, given I though you could normally only book approx. 12 months in advance. When did you book it? I recall seeing on this forum the ability to correct errors if booked in the last day?

Pay in 2011, fly in 2018. This could be a prudent financial decision to retain those tickets and lock in 2011's fare.

With any (bad) luck they will be on a coughpy 388 that is doing domestic runs prior to retirement

I think it's an 887
I don't think you can do this, even if you are "special", unless something has changed since my family's TA company days.
If you can perhaps I should book my 2045 RTW 3 times over F ticket - something to look forward to when I can afford it.
(As long as it's book now pay later).
