Qantas bar carts back on sale

Qantas Wine is selling half and full bar carts again, and the empty ones are half price if you pay with points. (Actually, looks like you might only be able to buy these with points?)

Starting at 47,500 Qantas points for a half cart with empty draws. There are also options which are filled with wine or beer for a cash co-payment.

Likely ‘bruised’ but with some elbow grease they come up great. Still enjoy ours and still have some of the wines.

New email has gone out this morning to WP members to get on the sale: Qantas Wine

Thankyou for that link. Am WP but didn't get the email. Half cart ordered. Through Points. Will go out on the balcony for BBQ's. A talking point.

Just wondering - a sleeve of Tim Tams. What would this mean?

I have an ex Ansett one, the front is in fine condition, left the markings and stickers on. For the side which was a bit scratched I got one of these: Delta cart cover

There are other designs and ones from other airlines from time to time.

I recall these sold out very quickly back in 2020. Definitely shows there's a market for heavily used aviation memorabilia.

Parliament can change the law! My understanding is that supermarkets are currently prohibited, in SA, from selling packaged liquor under the 1977 act. If parliament had the will, they could change it!

Apparently it’s to protect bottle shops… so the supeys don’t take away all their business! And somehow protects vineyards and growers. Not sure about that.

Could you take a photo of it inside? Our solitary bottle of gin is kept in the freezer and replaced regularly. My shelves are currently empty of the wine bottles which are in the fridge. I've got Qantas decals and bought a piece of one of the 747 planes. Not done much with it though.

Hahaha. Excellent idea! We've got bag tags made from the fuselage of one of the retired 747s as well
