We were in Y but the agent didn’t even look at that. Saw the Air Tahiti Nui flight number, ignored the QF flight number, and what I said, and turned us away.I'm WP flying SYD-AKL-PPT on a QF ticket in Y.
Was it determined whether I'll have lounge access in AKL?
In theory the answer is yes and rules are very clear and state if a QF flight number then access is granted but it seems the AKL staff aren’t following the rules.I'm WP flying SYD-AKL-PPT on a QF ticket in Y.

Dear bPeteb
Thank you for contacting us regarding your recent experience at the Auckland lounge. We are truly sorry to learn that you were refused entry, and we sincerely regret the disappointment and inconvenience this caused.
We understand how important lounge access is to our Platinum members, and we appreciate the loyalty you have shown to Qantas. Please be assured that your feedback has been noted and shared with the relevant teams, so that our staff are reminded of the correct application of lounge access policies, particularly in relation to codeshare flights booked under a Qantas flight number.
According to the information published on the Qantas website, Platinum members are entitled to lounge access when travelling on a Qantas-coded flight, even if the service is operated by a partner airline. We are sorry that this entitlement was not recognised during your journey, and we acknowledge the frustration this must have caused.
We value your membership and regret that your experience did not reflect the standards we aim to uphold. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention.
Kind Regards
Seems to me, that the word "operated" next to the Qantas lounges should actually be "marketed".Found this on QF website @bPeteb
