For a long time I run the Qantas app on my iPhone 5, then I upgraded to the iPhone 5s and the app refused to work. Basically it shows my status and details but none of my booked flights.

I have tried entering the flights manually, all that achieves is return to the main window with no flight added or crash the app and return to desktop.
It's worth noting the app still works great on the iPhone 5 just zero luck on the 5s.

I then got an iPhone 6, the app still doesn't work...

Notes to replicate: all devices were set up as new iPhones, I still have the app working on the original device. I tried this after taking the following steps: uninstall the app and reinstall, factory reset the iPhone and reinstall the app, switch to another iPhone... Installing the app in a Shinto shrine after donating all my coins and praying to the great juju up the mountain, nothing worked.

This leads me to the question, has anyone successfully upgraded iPhone and got this app working? Is there anything else I can try on the iPhone to make this work?

No issues upgrading from the 5 to the 6 regarding the QF app.

Are you using the official Qantas app? I'm not aware that you can add flights manually in the Qantas app so maybe you're using a third party one. Make sure this is the one you have:

Ah fair enough. I only use it for trips that are on Qantas so appear automatically. I use TripIt for my general travel app needs.

I had that happen once. I deleted the app, restarted the phone, re-installed the app and it's been fine ever since.

Tried this approach and no luck, very annoying too since I want to decommission my iPhone 5 and can't seem to be able to run the app in anything else.

I have sold many iPhones and no issues with any apps.

In saying that was your old iPhone loaded with the most up to date software for the IOS.

All my iPhones are loaded with the latest iOS.
I also tried to load the app on my iPod touch, same issue, none of my flights appear on it. I have tried also to reset my iPhone 6 many times with no luck.
Discussing this with a friend, it appears to be an issue related to multiple devices accessing the same account, which could mean I could only use the app by loading the ghost of my iPhone 5 on my iPhone 6 and never switching the 5 back on or resetting all together.

Im a bit reluctant to try that seeing if my 5 doesn't work any more with the app then none will ><.

the again someone posted he can use the app on the iPad and iPhone at the same time so it must be possible!

I can use it on both iPhone and iPad without difficulty.
I'm currently on a 6Plus but have had no trouble updating every iPhone I've had with the QF app.
iCloud however  is a work in progress.

I had lots of issues from day one on Samsung, but then recently changed to iPhone 6 and the app has worked perfectly for the first time.
