Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

WP and offered 15,000 points. I've got an end date of 30 June, so I also benefit from the status extension and rollover SC. Maybe this is a factor?
 
P1, LTG, July renewal earned by flying (over 7000 SCs), already over 3000 SCs towards next year. MANY delayed and a few cancelled QF flights. Also no lounge for some departures before it reopened.

Offer $50 and 30k points.

Not sure I've benefited from any of the 4 QF status extensions.

As above, just received the offer as WP and 30k. I'm a newly qualified WP this year from zero starting.. I'm at 2520 SC's since March with my year ending Sept 30, so not eligible for any of the extension offers.

The ABC news interviews at the airport was funny this AM - most customers didn't even know anything was wrong in the first place and thought it was great 😂.

Personally, I've barely been impacted by the issues at both QF and VA during the covid reboot (couple of cancelled VA flights, rescheduled QF flights now and then but meh I get on with things). So I also take these freebies gladly!

I'm also working out if the rollover will give me a stab at P1 again....

What I'm wondering with VA's high cancellation rates of late if they will be doing anything - I'd like a status extension from them too :) (Being greedy!)

I just received an email for 30,000 QF points & $50 towards next QF operated flight.

QF WP PC, anniversary 31 Dec, currently WP extended till Dec 2023 (as an effect of previous status extensions)
 
NOTE: For Platinum/Platinum One, you must click on the link in the e-mail to accept the 15,000/30,000 points.

The points are not automatic and it's not immediately obvious that you need to do this just skimming the e-mail.
