I am having troubles booking, get to the screen where you select how many points + cash you want and enter passenger names then hit confirm and throws an error. creates a PNR but didn't take my card details. grrrr
Oh no, QF not taking your card details.......sounds eerily familiar to my recent issue with QF.

A hopeless bunch at times, good luck!

So in the end the issue was just dodgy QF website doing some funky business with the booking, my booking to NLK successful!

No discount on LRE even though it's within the promotion period?

Doesn't seem to be. Which is bizarre as BKQ and BCI are both discounted.

Maybe catch the flight to BCI and then take the train?

Yeah the reward seat sale for domestic flights is legit... 41k down to 29k for a long haul domestic flight on business. Wish we knew when it ends though.

Can also get SCs with PC/PC+ as well.
MrsK and I have jumped on the band wagon and booked two J returns to Perth next July. 29k each, each way is good value - plus the SCs as well.

On the A330 obviously.
Yes - on the leg from Melbourne to Perth, although Canberra to Melbourne will be in a B717 - but we can still have bubbles for breakfast. Coming back to Canberra will be on a B737, it's an afternoon flight so it's less of a hassle.

Another hour on hold, only to be told that they can't 'honour' it even though I have a PNR with confirmed seats.
You should able to force them to honor the PNR if the system hasn't aged out the booking (usually 4 hrs or 4am). Once it ages out and you cannot see it in your QF account they won't honour.

I had to call to get multiple bookings fixed over the last week due to payment page crashing...

Maybe QF could re-employ some of those knowledgeable staff they gave the cough to recently.
Their call centre & website IT running at sub-par of late.

Rather hopeless.

Glad I popped in here! Booked points DPO-OOL in January, had no problems with the website (for a change), but yet to get the e-ticket.

Can anyone see any MIM flights? Don’t think it wa included
Tried a few options, availability in January & March 2022, HTTP ERROR 400 searching in February.
Selected scenic route via Sydney for the return in the screenshot below.

I see all days discounted. But MIM doesn't see a QF service every day.

Thanks for the reminder about the route though, niche little flight for a measly sum of points. Might give it a go with the train/bus one way and fly back!

The funniest thing - cleared my cache and now I see all days discounted like you… I had been looking at lots of flights in and out for a fun quick trip and that may have overloaded my cookies 😂

It’s a cute little route, I’m looking forward to flying it. Also want to do Melb-Mount Gambier, but the SA Government still has their chief hairdresser in charge so I’m still wary about visiting SA.

A few things:
1. You can get better than 30% off. If you have a Qantas Business Rewards account, not only do you get the flights at 30% off but you also get 5,000 points credited back.
2. There have been problems with the booking engine. Confirmed by the agent in Cape Town. She advised to keep trying and to do so on different browsers. I tried using Safari which didn't work but Chrome worked perfectly. Safari still not working 2 days later.
3. This is the best redemption value I have seen. Return to Melbourne from Hervey Bay next October (more on that next point) including carrier fees, saved spending $2,602 for 33,600 points. That values the points at 7.75c each.
4. While the website states that the offer ends on 27 October 2022, I successfully booked my return on 28 October 2022. It might have been that on the day of launch that 28 October was 352 days away but the next day, the 28th was available.

Absolutely useless Qantas website, tried 3 times over a couple of days to book Jetstar flights on sale, Classic Rewards, shown on the flight page, get through to the payment page, and then get an error!!! Go back to the search page and the Classic Rewards have disappeared! Next day same thing happens, what is going on? Tried to get through to Qantas on phone and gave up after being on hold for ages. This is a best a deceptive practice, and not good enough Qantas!

QF taken eye off the ball......so much to offer in terms of sale sale Grand Sale, but the booking system having too frequent issues.
