Travel began Thursday this week. On entering Lounge and obtaining coffee was greeted by Lounge Manager by name and asked if I wanted scrambled eggs for breakfast or anything else. Off to a great start. Flew with Melbourne based crew to DRW and the CSM could not be more helpful. Great trip and arrive 10 minutes early. Return trip today and arrive somewhat late but booked in. The crew at the Qantas lounge desk welcome me and advise flight from Adelaide has arrived early and my flight home will also depart early. Sweet no need to tuck into anything before departure. Then the Melbourne plane goes unserviceable and HO decides that the Adelaide plane will become the Melbourne plane and that the Adelaide flight will be cancelled and PAX will be transferred or fly on Sunday. I am fortunate and get a seat to MEL in J (as originally booked to ADL) and then standby to ADL in Y. Get to fly with CSM Janet to MEL who was terrific and could not be more helpful. No chance of J to ADL from MEL but the Desk in MEL plus the CSM were extremely helpful and looked after me. The P1 desk also did some amazing things and I was well looked after in Y. So to Qantas and especially the staff and crew it has been an amazing week of travel and I would like to to thank in this forum.

Good to hear you had a good experience.

Although I am sure some people did not have a good experience.
