Hey Guys, so I'll be flying to DFW in December and have the choice of 71D or 80A. I've read online about how these are both pretty good seats. I like the window but for long distance travel I would usually choose the aisle. Is there anyone who has has been fortunate enough to test out both seats and can provide an opinion?

I'll also be flying a few American Airlines flights on the Boeing 767-300 (763) V1 (seatguru.com/airlines/American_Airlines/American_Airlines_Boeing_767-300_MCE_V2_new.php) and Boeing 757-200 (752) Domestic MCE (seatguru.com/airlines/American_Airlines/American_Airlines_Boeing_757-200_MCE_new.php). Does anyone have any suggestions for good seat choices on these aircraft types apart from towards the front?

Thanks in advance!

80A/K you can get out reasonably easily but may still have to step over people in the exit in front. It's definitely still the pick of the seats. From memory it has a storage pocket on the side. 71D I don't think has any storage, and you'll have the person next to you climbing over, which you don't get in 80A/K.

Oh, by the way, even if you get a "good" seat on AA, it'll still be pretty ordinary...!

It would be 80A/k for me too. No one climbing over you, window seat and you can exit by walking straight ahead. Stretch out your legs before 79B/J claim the floor space. You do get a bit of noise from the galley but you are only paying for Y.

Must have just been me then.

In 80K one time and the person in 80J thought it was a great idea to disturb me instead of his friend in 80H. Got up 3-4 times from memory.

I'd be giving them the quizzical stare!
