I just have my fingers crossed for QF63 a week on Friday
Looks like QF 11 and 12 have been cancelled twice this week
I'm on the 63 to JNB next Wednesday, so hoping for minimal delays too, but you never know with a Qantas A380. They are never "on time" and always a good 15-20 minutes behind departure time than say Emirates, who I'm yet to have a departure at the time it says on the ticket.I just have my fingers crossed for QF63 a week on Friday
Fingers crossed for you both. I stressed myself to the point of resignation a few months ago for the same flight was it was performing abysmally in the month leading up to the flight and was so prepared for the worst that I was fairly zen by the time the day came.I'm on the 63 to JNB next Wednesday, so hoping for minimal delays too, but you never know with a Qantas A380. We pushed back one minute early, and flight was on time in both directions. Miracles happen!
Shall see what happens with QF 12 does this weekend
Operating QF35 to SINDoes anyone know why OQA flew from SYD-MEL as QF6001 this morning?

What Cabin?QF94 was cancelled on Thursday night out of LAX. It was delayed by an hour but then cancelled at the gate at boarding time due to "mechanical issues". A bit chaotic, but was automatically booked on QF12 for the next day, along with accommodation and vouchers. Made the most of the extra day in LA by renting a car and heading to the Malibu area. I also received an email apologising for the disruption and a credit of 50,000 QFF points. I will have to wait and see if they actually land in my account, but I was surprised by the amount offered.
Looks like OQL was a bit late departing. Now due in around midday.OQL due to depart in an hour for SYD, arriving Thu morning as QF6014.
Oh wow!! Booked, wasn't too rich this of my bucket list. The extra 380 will seemingly operate QF81/82 SYD-SIN in place of the Finnair 332, which should also give more A380 flexibility at SYD.
As per post in the Finnair thread, lots of First award availability on these new dates.
