That’s a 787? If so then for anyone with even modestly broad shoulders it’s bloody awful.
Huh? It is a JAL 777

The difference being JL has 2-4-2 config 787s and 3-3-3 config 777s so it's extra wide too compared to every airline by an inch or twoFinnair’s a330 economy bulkhead also has similar, if not more legroom. At 6’3 i couldn’t touch the bulkhead with my legs fully stretched! I flew it SIN-SYD and was really impressed!
Not so squeezy! The difference being JL has 2-4-2 config 787s and 3-3-3 config 777s so it's extra wide too compared to every airline by an inch or two
Interesting change to this page now referring to the refurb as 330-200LR.
In fairness... They did include the word "subtle" before "enhancements"."enhancements such as new carpet, curtains"
The least they can do with the fares they are charging...
Not before the 321's have a long range product please.Qantas should replace the a330-200 flights to Jakarta, Manila and some singapore with the a321xlrs and redeploy the a330s on long haul routes
Not until they have full lie flat J seatsQantas should replace the a330-200 flights to Jakarta, Manila and some singapore with the a321xlrs and redeploy the a330s on long haul routes
They have 3 321XLRs and none of them have a 4th toilet equipped.Qantas should replace the a330-200 flights to Jakarta, Manila and some singapore with the a321xlrs and redeploy the a330s on long haul routes
Highly doubt they will be, they'll be sent for scrap.Still no sign of the "domestic" 332s (EBA-EBL) being upgraded to a decent config with adequate toilet facilities, despite their wide use on international routes.

EBE and EBH are freighters while EBI and EBJ are gas stations, some would say that’s an upgradeStill no sign of the "domestic" 332s (EBA-EBL) being upgraded to a decent config with adequate toilet facilities, despite their wide use on international routes.
And hopefully another A330-200P2F in the coming years. Still at early stages of negotiationsEBE and EBH are freighters while EBI and EBJ are gas stations, some would say that’s an upgrade![]()
Particularly EBA-EBD which are 2001-2003 deliveriesHighly doubt they will be, they'll be sent for scrap.
To slightly correct.EBE and EBH are freighters while EBI and EBJ are gas stations, some would say that’s an upgrade
all of the above and A321XLRWhat aircraft is Qantas actually planning on to replace the a330-200s? I know they are getting the 787-9s/10s and a350s for the larger a330-300s, but they haven't ordered any aircraft as a direct replacement to the a330-200
Then that's nothing of the same size as the a330-200s. The a350-1000s will be far too large and premium to be a replacement, and the 787-9s will be very premium heavy and the 787-10s would be far too large. A321XLR is too small and can't reach many a330-200 destinationsall of the above and A321XLR
