JL's B788/789s have 2-4-2 configs in Y. They're the only carrier to do so.

Finnair’s a330 economy bulkhead also has similar, if not more legroom. At 6’3 i couldn’t touch the bulkhead with my legs fully stretched! I flew it SIN-SYD and was really impressed!

The difference being JL has 2-4-2 config 787s and 3-3-3 config 777s so it's extra wide too compared to every airline by an inch or two

Latest info was it was a 3-4wk process and first aircraft would be refurbed by Feb 2026

Qantas should replace the a330-200 flights to Jakarta, Manila and some singapore with the a321xlrs and redeploy the a330s on long haul routes
