I'm travelling on a 787 redeye flight (9 hours)and have a pretty wide choice of seats in the PY cabin. I assume row 20 (first row) has extra legroom over the standard PY seat? Does the bulkhead interfere with stretching out? I'm aware of the bassinet seats, that doesn't bother me too much. The alternate is row 23. I'm 180cm and flying solo.

Advice welcome.

I always pick row 20 because it's physically impossible to get out of your seat in any other row if the person in front of you reclines.

Normally I avoid bulkhead seats so I can stretch out more (I'm just over 180cm) but I found row 20 in PE on the 787 to have plenty of space, and can easily get up from the window seat without disturbing pax.

I agree, row 20 if you can. At least you don't have a seat in front of you reclining which is a major downside to QF PE's as it basically kills the legroom.
