Q Bag Tags

Perhaps I'm a bit funny. I would never be seen in a lounge or on a flight with an electronic tag showing on my bag.

An old silver electronic tag stays on my check-in bag when used domestically. The carry-on bag has a silver tag inside that can be attached if the bag ever needs to be checked in but usually has an old Pan Am tag (with phone numbers folded in the tag) and another round orange tag with "THIS IS NOT YOUR BAG" in black print attached.

Sometimes I use a different carry-on with just an old QP tag on it.

Sorry if this is hijacking your thread, but whats the deal with getting new bag tags???

I've been Plat for 3 years now and the only surviving tag is on its last legs!

Anybody got any experience in getting new ones??? Surely they don't make you pay for them...

Ring the Plat line and ask for them, no problems.

People actually buy these? No way.......

Anyone happen to know if QF still make/provide any of the the old swing-tag type for WPs? The ones that rotate on themselves to open and add detail. Of course I can ask when next on the blower with them, but AFF usually has all the answers!

Apparently they haven't had any for a fair while. I've heard fellow AFFers have asked for them but were told they were no longer available.

Cool - thanks. Might have to cough up some coin for the AFF ones, instead!

My ex partners dad keeps his Q-Tag on his laptop case. I always wondered if he knew what they were used for.

I emailed Qantas Frequent Flyer and they sent me a whole heap of QC ones.

No WP ones available unfortunately.

Also none of those plastic loops, but you van buy them off ebay cheaply in packs!

Cheers

I dont even know where my Q bag tags are now. Perhaps I should call and get them to send me some more Q bag tags so I can lose those as well.

I know in this day and age we all need to fend for ourselves, but would love to,hear AFF spin on this, do you assist small females in getting their luggage into overhead bins!
Absolutely. I also try and assist anyone else trying to get their luggage from the overhead bins.
