Just wondering how many people use these ridiculous baggage tags ?
Mine have sat in the cupboard at home until tonight when I found an actual use for them, maybe Qantas should do this in the lounges

I actually use mine as well as 9/10 I will check my carry on luggage as being just over 5ft, find it difficult to reach overhead-bins and not too often does anyone offer to assist me, so just find it easier to check in bag. I know in this day and age we all need to fend for ourselves, but would love to,hear AFF spin on this, do you assist small females in getting their luggage into overhead bins!
But I do love your tree, absolutely unique I would have to say. Interior designer by any chance!

Didn't you know that Mark Newson is now designing Christmas Trees, it'll cost you 65,000 points but he'll come and make it look fantastic and complete with q bag tags :-).

Mr FM always helps anyone (male or female) who look like they need help with bags. I have even seen him carry a bag off the plane to help a young Mum struggling with a toddler and carryons. I think many people are so wrapped in their own affairs these days they don't notice people around them.....

Not only females, but males as well! Not only into bins, but out of them as well. Also at exit time, any tall person whose bags are in bins out of their reach laterally along the cabin, but within my reach.

At 5ft 10 I'm not exactly short. On a flight some time back a tall (over 6ft) female indicated for me to pass as she was placing her gear into the overhead locker. I mentioned that I was sitting in the row where she was standing. She took my bag off me and chucked it in after hers

Jessica must have a nice collection - I recall her post mentioning that red is the only colour she doesn't have

had a bad experience with a Qtag. fly to Melbourne with qantas and home with a competitor then onto mt isa a few days later again with qantas. No luggage arrived - apparently it was sent to melbourne because the sysytem thought i was still there - or some other ridiculous excuse. that tag is now a drinks coaster.

But it's the White that seems to have the higher status at P1  Thought it would have been CL

Originally only CL had black but then WPs asked for replacement tags and were sent them. Maybe they over ordered?

Maybe they should just give out some more CL memberships to use up the tags

That's a bit sexist, surely everyone could do with help :p

I generally try to keep to myself, but if someone asks or I know whose bag it is I have been known to pull the bag out for them.

I should have all but CL (which is different to the new WP) by end of Jan. I actually use a red-purchased one on my check-in bag, don't want to seem too dykwia, ya know ;)

It certainly can be an issue, so always make sure it's not on if you're using the old method.

I think the black came with special rules In that it can ONLY be used on cabin baggage and must overhang out the locker when trying to close it.

Whilst I may never have a red one, With the change in card/tag colour I am also missing a white one - maybe next year.

And I don't ever expect to get a black one.

I must say that they few times I have used tags for dom checked baggage it has worked very smoothly, can't complain.
