Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

T
Looks like the 420 also works (on its way to T1).

Edit:
1. sorry, the 2nd screen shot is the 420 route (pic got cropped for some reason). Weirdly, it was showing a few minutes quicker than the 350 but you grab whatever come first.
2. unfortunately, from T1 it looks like the 420 loops around the domestic terminal road before heading towards Mascot station - it take the hit on train instead of that!

Seriously 2022 and no Myki at Melbourne airport..... public transport pickup and drop off location!
The bus driver had no idea of location at airport.
It is at the INFORMATION center opposite the international arrival area!

Yep, no way to buy Myki card there, but yes to recharging, or top up, that is easy with app.
They took away the machine at T3 a while back.
Now that space is the link between T3 and T4, ... no newsagency to do recharge either.
Registered or non registered Myki can be recharged this way by the app.
Have to wait for the new MEL airport train station and service in 2030 for Myki or new system by then there I guess.
Edit: ah, so that's where the Myki machine went to.

The Machine will be there but my myki card expired in late November 2021 so I doubly doubt I could reload it

There's a Myki machine at T2 arrivals. Used it in May.

Free trains to SYD for a week and free terminal transfer

Not sure how legal this will be. Unions pissed that 90+ % of travellers are still tapping on/off despite barriers open (given that it’s still technically fare evasion).

Also not sure if T1 and T2/3 will be included given their privately operated but if you can’t tap in to get there - makes it hard to tap out!

Yea while I was in sydney during the last trip I ran into ticket inspectors at Chatswood Railway station waiting upon the bus arrivals.. So it’s was simpler just to pay the fare than faff around working out which mode to pay or not pay.

Well Perth NOW has a new way to arrive at the airport !

And less if you are using a SmartRider card- $4 I think. My Seniors SmartRider card will probably get me there for free outside peak hours.
Be warned
the last carriage on a 3 car set is nowhere near the Escalator at Redcliffe.
