PER….And cities of less than 5 million: Vienna, Helsinki
Munich, Copenhagen ....PER….
But also add AMS, MAD, BCN and BER (even if that one is a bit of a PITA) to the broader list.

Yep. Took 20 minutes to get onto the motorway Thursday afternoon; thought I was going to miss my delayed flight. While the skybus is 25mins 90-95% of the time, its unpredictable

$10 and you’re on your way. They do virtual Clipper cards now too (Apple & Google wallet)!San Francisco (SFO) has air train + BART to downtown.
Gave up on the Jamaica line. I think someone also mentioned upthread about this.
Will report back. SYD+1 is adamant that we’re getting PT to downtown…(bloody SF retirees…).Gave up on the Jamaica line. I think someone also mentioned upthread about this.

Yep. Heading to East Village this trip.If you are going to mid-town, around Penn Station/Empire State Building, the fastest way into Manhattan is the JFK Airtrain to Jamaica station, from where the LIRR runs about every 10-15 minutes to Penn Station (20 min ride). Definitely check into this if you're staying close to that area and don't need to further transfer to the subway.
For actual NYC downtown, that is, Lower Manhattan, the "A" train route from Howard Beach is more convenient, albeit more crowded than LIRR.

ZRH also has local and mainline trains underground.ZRH also has a tram and I'm sure there are plenty of other examples.
Agree on that point - crazy not building a station that can handle through running. The airport doesn't want a train link and placing the possible train station above ground is a joke! Even the airport suggested it should be underground
Not pie in the sky at all - A better solution that people will use, the current "solution" is pathetic at best
Given the current rail link is going to cost $8-13bn to be above ground....
Sydney and London are much faster solutions than driving
Either way I would never ever use it, nor would anyone I know
