She should turn her nose up at the owner and take her business elsewhere. I reckon she'll have the last laugh.

Good luck at getting accommodation in Moranbah.

You have too book months out or some motels are just booked out by one company for months at a time.

Exactly why I'm FIFO-ing it in September... BNE-MOV-TSV-CNJ-ISA-BNE.

It is not good to stereotype.

So a "normal" person goes out to the pub and picks up someone for the night and they decide to go to a motel for the night to avoid compilations.

And that "normal" person goes out the next night and picks up another for the night.

And that "normal" person goes out the next week and picks up another for the night.

No money has exchanged hands but how is that "normal" person different to a prostitute?

Well in the early 80s QF had a deal whereby buying a ticket to the US got you 7 days car hire and 7 nights in a Travelodge.
The Travelodge Hollywood on sunset boulevarde was a high class establishment.3 storeys,no lifts. We were on the second floor, the working girls on the third. All night it was clomp,clomp.........,bang crash,squeak,squeak...............,bang crash,clomp,clomp............We got out of there very early the next morning.
Of course the Travelodge in Brookline, boston was much better-drug deals going on all around at breakfast.

Didn't you get tired going up and down those stairs drron?

I suppose Motel operators can quote absurd rate if a prostitute or any other 'undesirable' customers front up in reception. But then, as I mentioned earlier, a customer can book and prepay accommodation online, then expect to checkin...The issue is about discrimination...whether in Moranbah or elsewhere.
