Hi all. Looking at international departure lounge options from Bali.

The Priority Pass app advertises the “Concordia Lounge” but also notes it is in the Domestic Departures area.

Does anyone know if you can use this lounge before an international departure?

I suppose the question would be: Why would you want to?

The lounge looks to be nothing much.

International departure procedures at DPS can take quite some time.

Once airside, there are any number of reasonably priced food and beverage outlets.

The lounges have never been great at DPS. One of the lounges in the old INT terminal had an outside area with good views. But that was the best bit.

Thanks for the advice Austman. Why would I want to …. Late flight out of Bali (9.45pm) and potentially a lot of time to kill between hotel check out and then. With 3 kids under 10.
Never been to Bali before so wasn’t sure of the options.

You might be better off negotiating a late hotel checkout.

Some of the hotels can be quite generous but of course it’s up to them. If you have to pay, a half-day should get you to 6pm-ish.

And some of the hotels have a departures lounge that leaving guests can use. They’re nothing fancy but are air conditioned and can have showers.

Depends what time checkin opens too.

It took us almost an hour to clear security and outbound passport control. I was actually surprised by how good airside looks now at DPS… looked like lots of things to explore, but we had no time.

The Novotel DPS is attached to the airport… if your hotel kicks you out early you can always transfer there… overnight rooms are around $70. Stay there until 730, head to checkin, be through by around 830, boarding at 915.

Alternatively there’s the Hilton Garden Inn which is cheaper, around $50. But a couple minute’s drive from the airport.

Not much activity on Priority Pass posts. Does anyone actually pay for this anymore?

Garden inn has one the lowest points requirements for a redemption .

Agree with @Austman just set up camp in one of the restaurants airside they are reasonably priced and sometimes less crowded than the very ordinary lounges.

Priority Pass now lists Concordia (International) Lounge in Bali International airport. Strangely Amex Platinum Charge card doesn't list it yet but I think it has only this week become available. Or it is a glitch in the system. Who knows? Mastercard airport lounges lists it though. No booze ,but looks quite spacious if the photos are accurate. Buffet, soft drinks and coffee. Open 6am to 2 am.

W Hotel in Bali rocked, they let us stay in the villa till 6pm which was great. Smooth ride to the airport.
Well we ended up in the “Premier” lounge which was included for me as an SIA KrisFlyer gold + guest, and had to spring $50 bucks total for the kids. We hung out there for an hour before the flight which was fine.
Walked past the Priority Pass lounge, no idea about the inside condition.

All lounges in Bali are below par - suggest choosing a public eating area and saving some Rupiahs.

This is me today. Checked out of my Hotel at 12pm and killing time until my airport transfer arrives at 6pm for a 930pm departure.
1 hour massage, 1.5 hours at a cafe and now lying on a sun bed back at the hotel pool trying not to get sweaty.
Long boring day

Highly recommend the Novotel at Bali airport for situations where you have to vacate the hotel early afternoon and have a late evening flight. Costs about $60 a night but it is attached to the airport with its own private entrance into the check-in hall. Rooms are comfortable and clean and there's a small pool. End of course if any delays you can just hang around in the room.
