Priority check with other passengers

Hi all,

Flying from HBA to HTI via MEL tomorrow HBA-MEL section on Qantas the MEL-HTI on Jetstar as Qantas don't fly to HTI except via Cairns nowadays X(. Anyhow, its a family holiday and the parents are flying the HBA-MEL flight in Business, my two brothers and I are booked in economy.

What would the check-in staffers reaction be if we all tried to use priority check? What would you do in this situation, ask? So far as Qantas club access goes?

You won't know until you give it a go!

Just have all 5 of you approach checkin together and have your Dad hand over all 5 passports/drivers licences/otherphoto ID.

Same a Qantas Club. Have your father present all 5 boarding passes. On a weekend you should be fine.

Only location for priority check is in HBA. There's no domestic interlining betwixt QF and JQ.

i.e. you check in for HTI @ MEL JQ counters (or QP - if NO checked luggage).

I flew back from HBA on JQ this week with checked luggage. I has OLCI'd the day before. Proved useful as was able to us a OLCI Bag-drop counter - bypassing the 50 or so PAX that were queued up.

Might be similar in MEL. :idea:

So your suggestion would be to check in now and then just bag drop in MEL? Sounds like the go...
