Premium Economy cabins

Interesting phrase, the 'comfort canyon' between Y and J.

I've often thought about how vastly different the two cabin experiences are, when J and F can be so similar. In fairness, the cost difference isn't usually a small premium either — as we all know, J can run 200-500% of the cost of Y.

If I'm booking a long haul flight and can't get J (for whatever reason), if the airline does not have a PE cabin on that route, I'm not booking that flight. Thus, QR will not get my booking, unless I'm flying on a DONEx.

No matter what he says, Qatar Y is not Y+. Not even on their new 787's, a simple case of denial. Y+ is the baby boomer section of the airplane. No Y+ No baby Boomers.

Why do you assign a cabin class to a generation?

I was being funny, Y+ is not just for baby boomers. But has travelled in it 6 times in the last two years that is what I have seen.
