Premium economy back row

Hi,

I have booked a Syd-NYC flight - QF107 (747 config) - in premium economy for two people. It's quite a full cabin already and from a seating perspective my only choices are:
39A/B
or 38F/G

I'm leaning to 39A/B but am reading mixed reviews on the recline (ie. is there a reduced recline from being in back row). Is there a definitive answer on this - reading through other posts the information is a bit inconsistent.
