pre-paid SIM + data in Europe

You can try Virgin Mobile - it works out substantially cheaper (about 20 less I think) and they use Orange's network, but you only get 300 MB and they bill A LOT for anything over that. Plus you have to order online, so you'll need good French (and possibly a French address)

I was in Paris last year, bought a prepaid sim from Virgin in the Virgin Megastore, did not have to order online.

Try ekit, phonecards, prepaid sim cards and international cell phones for international travelers for pre-paid mobile and 3G/GPRS data.

The Data rates are about the best you'll get from most places and fall in with the new EU cap on roaming data charges.

Thanks for the link,

one question is there seem to be a few different products available but they all seem to link to the same thing depending on how much each one costs.

I guess each of the sim cards is shipped from the US.

Which of the Iphones has the weird sim card size.

Might have to look at a sim card for my next trip to Singapore in January.

In the past it was great to have phone coverage but now when I go overseas I want data as well. Seems like I got an internet addiction.

I can help you if you PM/Email me (I can even cut a SIM to iPhone 4 size if required before posting). We ship from Melbourne or the USA or UK (as well as some other smaller places around the world as well where we have demand).

The main difference is the calling price. Some are free to receive but more expensive to make calls, others cost something to receive but have cheap outbound. You just need to evaluate the benefits of each and how you'll use it.

But as I say, PM me and i'll see what I can do for you if you do want a a SIM ;)
