pre-existing illness?

Hi everyone,

I have a pretty basic pre-existing illness that would require me to apply for cover before travel (such as with zurich assist) but does anyone know how ing this approval is for? Do I need to re-apply before each travel period? Do I pay each time?

Depends on your insurer. Ask them. Generally basic pre-existing conditions are ok as long as you don't make a claim against the particular condition.

If it's a single trip policy, yes you'd likely have to re-apply each time you take out a policy but if you travel frequently, you're going to get better value for money with an annual policy where you'll only have to apply once a year.
