Flying on BA010 tomorrow night Syd to BKK. We're on the upper deck in Business class.

I've heard that BA have a special type of power socket. I'm carrying an international power adaptor, so would mine work or is it a special type of BA only type plug?

The new version of NCW (which BA10 should have) is normal AC plug socket so you should be fine; iirc, it takes australian plugs

The older Club World uses empower which needs a special DC adapter

Note that BA (and I think AA) typically also carry empower kits with multiple tips.
That said none fitted my Dell Mini 9 (being a new machine, with yet another tip style)

BA used to sell the targus travel adapter on-board (empower capable version) in duty free, but not sure i am a fan, but if you have no choice....
I got one on one flight when i decided working on a presentation was the only thing i wanted to do and had no battery life.

I actually have a Kensington 120W power pack that I use at home (saves me carring one from work to home each day) that hasboth a regular plug and an empower port - very handy - can also be used in the car.
