Award Flight Assist is a popular service from our sister website, Frequent Flyer Solutions. Launched in September 2016, we've now helped our customers to effectively redeem over 70 million frequent flyer points for travel! The service continues to grow in popularity - so much so that we are adding an extra team member.

We're looking for a talented award travel consultant to join the Frequent Flyer Solutions team. Your job will be to liaise with customers to help them build the perfect award flight itinerary using their frequent flyer points. You'll need an excellent working knowledge of frequent flyer programs and airline search engines which you'll use to find available award flights to meet your clients' requirements, ensuring they get the best possible value out of their frequent flyer points.

We will provide training, but you should have some experience making and travelling on award bookings. We'll look favourably on candidates that are active AFF participants.

To summarise, we're looking for someone with:
  • Experience making airline award bookings
  • A good working knowledge of major frequent flyer programs (Qantas, Velocity, KrisFlyer, Asia Miles, AAdvantage etc.)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • A focus on providing outstanding customer service
  • A passion for travel, and experience travelling independently to a variety of overseas destinations
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • An eagerness to learn
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to manage a flexible work-load

What you'll get:
  • Flexible working hours
  • Work from home - or anywhere else with an internet connection
  • Potential to increase scope and responsibilities.
  • Remuneration will be based on the work-load and will be commensurate with your experience. The work-load will depend on the demand for our services. At this stage we expect to offer around 1-2 days per week of work.

To apply for this role, please email your CV to jobs@frequentflyer.com.au. In your application, please tell us about your experience with using frequent flyer points. And if you’re an AFF member, be sure to include your AFF username!

If you are interested could you please apply by Monday 26 Feb at 5pm (AEDT). We plan to shortlist candidates later that day.
