Unsure if anyone has seen this, but the points statement now has a search feature that searches back around 2 years, helpful if you need to find a particular flight (as can search via PNR or by name, etc). If this is an old addition then don't mind me!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Looks like Qantas has been making a range of enhancements to its website over the past few days. There's also a new credit card companion feature, for example.

The search function on the activity statement certainly seems like another useful feature!

For those who don't have much account activity, it would perhaps be helpful if Qantas would also display the most recent activity date/date of points expiry as well. They used to do this but removed the feature a few years back (some would say deliberately to increase breakage).

Though QTMC is a good way to stop QFF points from being taken due to inactivity.
Not a credit card so no debt, no interest due.
Aud$4 spent equals 1 QFF point.

4 QFF points per $1 doesn't seem worth the effort.

Download the QANTAS Wellbeing app and get points for doing a few steps a day. Easy peasy.

Now, 4 QFF points per $1 spent, that would be good.
But as it is, its the other way around that is now, as it is.
My smartphone (basic one) is already telling me internal storage is full, got it for cheaps, I think it was Aud$129, so not a lot of space on that thing.
If Jobkeeper keeps on after sept for me, I might put in the $ to get another smartphone, with more space, and put it only to pocket wifi.
Right now, without flights, EDR and QTMC are the only ways to keep my QFF account alive.
But with Vic in hard lockdown, NSW maybe soon, and Qld might bring it in again, and no go with WA, NT might also do lockdown, then no flying.
Also, so many hotels, which are another way to earn QFF points without flying, are now covid hotspots (because someone thought it was a good idea to quarantine overseas returnees (Aussies/PRVisa holders) in them, pity this, means that when we go to Vic in future, are we staying at one of them places.
3 hotels in Adelaide are now class as covid holding places, two of the is in the Accor ALL, (Pullman and Peppers, unbelievable, what next, the IHG?
The hotel stays were also a good way of getting QFF points without flying, just need to book via QFF hotels/JQ hotels website.
But its hard to believe, that not everyone knows that QFF points have a life of 18 months, if no/nil activity, then the points go, and its an effort to get them back/reinstated.
Ok, warbly turned off for now.

!

My bad. $4 for 1 QFF point is definitely not worthwhile.

I'm telling you, just download the QANTAS wellbeing app. You only need to do 2000 steps per day to earn a point. It's by far the easiest way of keeping your QFF balance alive. Promise!
