Afternoon!

I have an upcoming holiday where I have booked MEL-SYD-HKG-SYD-MEL as 1 International ticket.
The MEL-SYD leg is in 'L' class, under the domestic earning table this is classified as 'Economy' 20SC's.
Now being part of and international fare, is the MEL-SYD portion considered under 'L' class in the International table, hence 'Discount Economy' or domestic earning table 'Economy'?

Thanks!

Status credits are earned on a sector basis so your MEL-SYD vv sectors will earn 20SCs in L Class and your SYD-HKG vv sectors will earn 40SCs.

Thanks RR! although I think you mean SYD-HKG is 30SC's not 40SC's ;)

Just to clarify, Is your SYD-HKG flight in L class?
Internationally L class earns at the 'Economy' rate (40SCs). If your Int booking is in N, O or Q 'Discount Economy' you would earn 30SCs.

I probably should clarify, I am flying soon ie. before the 1st July 'changes' come into effect. So 30SC's is what I will earn on this flight. Though would be nice to get 40SC's on this flight ;)

ah, we got there in the end.
20SCs for the Dom element and 30SCs for the Int.
Enjoy your flights.
