Hi
I have a family member who has some points on their QFF account. They are coming up (may have already received a message) to the point where the points are about the expire after a specified period of non-activity.

If they transfer those points to my account, would they still expire on the date they were going to expire originally? My account is quite active with my own flights and credit card transactions.

Thanks
LP

They expire on the schedule of whatever account they are in at the time. So, if they are moved into your account, they will be on the schedule for your account. If your account is quite active, then they won't expire.

The family member might also consider getting an everyday rewards card from woolworths as minimal spend each year will keep the points active.
