Points Club Plus Status Credit Rollover: simpleton question

Hi all. Here's me, still learning.

I just went up to Points Club Plus. I currently have 295 Status Credits and will retain silver for 2023 (which some will know was something pathetic that I was nevertheless aiming for and excited to attain). So, with PC+ there's a lot said about rolling over 100 SC's, but how does that work? I am expecting that the answer is "you needed 250 to reach silver so you have 45 left over thus you roll over 45". Is that correct, or do they roll over 100 for some reason. The latter would be nice but then so would unicorn farts.

You should get 100SC rolled over. There is no need to be above 250 for that. I beleive that with the PC+, the status extension that I think you triggered, and 50SC for greencarbon, you will have 250 sc enough SC to requal for 2024, as long as you take 4 flights (award flights do count).

Not exactly related to the question but ...
I have reached the ranks of the Points Club Plus Membership.
re the 50% bonus on Qantas Hotels bookings , any knowledge whether it applies to stays after the date of change to Plus level or does it only apply to bookings made after that date? This is the wording
and 50% bonus points on bookings> (excludes Airbnb and Qantas Holiday Packages)
and in the appendix
and Points Club Plus members will earn 50% more Qantas Points, on hotel stays booked through qantas.com/hotels

On a similar matter, Has anyone reaching the hallowed ranks of Plus hood not received their $100 hotel voucher within 21 days - I have not . I have checked that my account settings would allow for this and they do .

I would contact Qantas Points Club to discuss this but cannot find an email or phone number ( apart from 131313!) Any suggestion of another number.

I did not receive my $50 voucher for PC despite qualifying in Dec, but did get wine voucher on my Birthday. There doesn't seem to be an easy way t follow up, waiting on hold for hours is not worth it.

@ozflier I received my $100 voucher very quickly after attaining PC+, within a few days. As I turns out I had an opportunity to use it, and combined it with the Victorian Government's $200 rebate offer, so I'm a happy camper (well hotel-stayer).

@Lynda2475 , can you contact Qantas FF instead of the normal Qantas (non)help line? I got through there fairly quickly the other week, although the person on the other end of the phone was useless.

I tried to use my qantas $100 hotel voucher expiring end of this month but it kept saying it was invalid . Any tricks to make it work ? Or email ph no I should call to rectify ?

Same thing happened to me. I had a couple others, so didn't bother chasing up but I think you'd get faster results phoning - I emailed Q support for something else a week ago and still no reply. Having said that, I've found the Qantas hotel bookings ph number and staff more responsive and more useful than ticketing or frequent flyer.
