The QP membership that one gets with PC+ is a little redundant if you're already gold or higher. The inability to gift it is poor.

Question though. If someone is gold (which allows them one guest into the QP), if they're also PC+ could they then guest two people into the QP?

I would also expect the answer is no - I don't think the lounge desk can see your Points Club Plus membership, they just see a Qantas Club membership for PC+ members who are QFF Bronze or Silver.

Slightly OT but it will be interesting to see whether

- any Gold and higher PC+ members get a QP year added to their QFF profile when they drop from Gold to Silver
- any existing QP members get the full +1 year added to their QP membership when they attain PC+ (i.e. the prorated balance of their paid QP membership is carried to the following year)

From memory the T&C state that neither will happen, but given a QP membership is frozen when a member attains Gold and resumes when they drop back to Silver, it might just be the case. Given all the extensions I don't think we would find out until at least August 2022 though!
