Points Club - Need 5000 Points

Any ideas on the quickest / best way to get 5,000 points in a week, including processing time? I'm at 145,000 so might as well try for points club.

I tried transferring 10,000 Amex Membership Rewards points across but even though the points appeared in my account, they don't seem to have counted toward Points Club. I assumed this would work so didn't really try other options.

Anyone got any tips for a quick 5,000 points?

Not sure why AMEX points transfer didn't count. I did the same, and they were counted.

They came through eventually, I was just too impatient.

They appeared in my account and my total points updated, but the Points Club tally didn't update for some reason. Updated approx 24 hours later.

Bought the wine though anyway!

Yep, the bonus points wine cartons are a solid go-to, you can usually get 10k bonus points for cartons in the $290+ price range, so $22-25 a bottle, and net arround 11k points.

As soon as it ships.
This is usually next business day, but my last carton took a week to process (presumably due to lockdowns)

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply, does that include both the standard and bonus points? Have 290k odd this year and have to reach 350k by end of the month

All in one hit as a single points dump for the order. (i.e one line on your points balance statement)
If you ordered today, should be in your account by Wednesday under normal circumstances, maybe next week if they're still taking a bit of time to process orders based off my experience last month.
