Hi All,

I now do my flying with VA and have 53,861 krisflyer miles that expire at the end of the year (I have already extended them) does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with them? I would be happy to go to Singapore or another local destination but would prefer to fly business and don't want to have to spend loads of cash in order to burn the points!!

Thanks for your input.

If you must fly business, you can redeem 42,000 krisflyer miles for a roundtrip ticket on VA from MEL to anywhere in Australia except WA & NT. If you want to go overseas, you only have enough points for a one way ticket in business.

Hi All,

Well on the minimising cash front. MEL -CNS is 11,000 one way if you redeem on VA as a SQ partner award in Y...and TC is $0.00, or at least it was when I did it.

So for you and a mate/gf/wife that is 44,000 points return. That is in Y though. Not a long flight though.

Thanks for your ideas. Something for me to consider in about an hour when I board my next flight!
