It’s the first time I’ve seen these pods in the Canberra Qantas Club. As a solo traveller, I like them. Comfy chair and a fabric-covered sound/privacy barrier that helps take the edge off the noise without being too closed off. The little table swivels to your preferred position and there’s a power point built into the base.

J lounge was closed a week or so ago, I think undergoing some renovation (how long?) and was directed to the Qantas Club. I felt the Canberra Qantas Club is actually really nice, much more seating space, seating options, the pods you mentioned, the light and the view. Maybe even better than the J lounge?

Totally agree. CBR QC is much better than J lounge. I love the runway views from QC and the natural lighting. And for a vego, from experience, QC has better meal options than J lounge.

Yea, saw these last week. But couldn't try. Most of the time I work from the lounge with at least 2 screens - so prefer the work tables right next to these pods. I will try this next time I'm flying.

I didn't see those a few weeks ago, but it was before 6am. We'll be in there in a couple of weeks' time, and will take one for a spin
External windows? Natural light? In a Qantas Club? Impossible!
And yes, it's a better view than from the Bus Lounge which looks out onto the car park.

That's quite funky. Now if they could just work on their wine selections
