I didn't get an invite but as a Bronze who lives in Canberra who got a gig at the recent Canberra "do" I am neither surprised nor disappointed

I was very, very surprised that I received an invitation. Only made it to Platinum in September. Unfortunately cannot attend, but hope to get an invite to a future event.

Went to the Xmas function last night.

Lots more people than the last one at the Mint.

The Taittinger was flowing very generously. Nibble were a little light on. There seemed to be a race for the waiters for nibbles.

Martha Marlow (the new voice of Qantas) performed her "Feels like home" perfectly. Unfortunately the crowd seemed to be more interested in the drinks after that . She played a couple more of her songs but was drowned out by the crowd. She is a genuine talent and good luck to her. Only 20 years old.

Hope Qantas keep playing the ad and she piles up the royalty payments.

Thanks Qantas really enjoyed the event.

I was also lucky enough to score an invitation to this function. As civinod described, the Tattinger oiled the large, mainly grey suited crowd, though the food was less prevalent.
The crowd dutifully listened to Martha Marlow's advert song but we're less attentive to the rest. Lesley gave short speech and drew the door prizes ( Bose equipment and wines). They said they had run out of Champagne at around 8pm so I was surprised to get an email from Qantas epiQure this morning offering Tattinger @$49.99 by the half dozen. They must have found some more.
