With QF''s imminent (26 June 2015) resumption of PER to SIN flights with a five times a week offering, the announcement about pyjamas caught my eye.

QF says that 'because QF72 (from SIN to PER) is an evening flight', 'the popular QF pyjamas will be provided' (for those in J):

If I correctly recall, PJs are not provided for J passengers ex MNL on the evening QF20, and possibly not ex CGK as well on its four weekly flights that are evening departures back to SYD.

Why the inconsistency when it is further from say MNL to SYD than from SIN to PER?

PJs on a 737? With just limited recliners - no flat seats. And I can hardly turn around in the forward loo. Change in the galley? Still, why not?

Can't compare the SIN-PER flights with the MNL and CGK flights. Whilst all three are evening departures the PER flight is not overnight it also has a very late evening arrival. Oh hang on ...

PJ's most definitely are provided on QF20 ex-MNL.

To clarify, all customers in First class are offered Sleeper Suits, regardless of sector length.

All overnight flights, and day flights over 9 hours, have pajamas available in Business.

QF 23 SYD to BKK 2nd April in J ... no-go on PJs (asked, told no).
But QF 24 in J on the return they were handed out.
